NEW ABC joins, together with the other sister projects, the European Week of Regions and Cities
On 11 October 2023, the NEW ABC project coordinator Rachele Antonini met the coordinators of the so-called sister projects in Brussels, in a joint event celebrated in the framework of the European Week of Regions and Cities. The European Week of Regions and Cities is the biggest annual Brussels-based event dedicated to cohesion policy, a neutral platform to discuss common challenges for Europe’s regions and cities by bringing together a diverse community of speakers and participants.
Within the session entitled “Comparing practices and policies among various intercultural cities to foster inclusion”, the three EU-funded project coordinators compared practices and policies between several European intercultural cities (Bologna, Turin, Barcelona) to enhance the inclusion of children with a migrant background. The round table presented the results obtained in the activities carried out together with stakeholders, policymakers and representatives of religious associations.
