The Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) is a generalist campus-based University. It plays a worldwide leading role in scientific research and its wide range of disciplines, in both education and research, indicates its multidisciplinary approach. The UAB holds a leading position in the most prestigious and influential international university rankings due to the growing impact of its research, the constant improvement of the quality of teaching and the ability to attract international talent. The UAB has received more than 42 million Euros of funding in H2020 projects. It has participated in 92 projects, acting as the coordinator for 10 of them. As a partner, the UAB participates in more than 33 projects related with education and cooperation.
UAB will participate in the NEW-ABC project through the MIRAS Research Group. The MIRAS research group integrates researchers from the UAB, as well as researchers from other national and international universities, and collaborators who are professionally linked to Public Service Interpreting (PSI) and intercultural mediation.
