The members of the consortium were carefully selected in order to maximize, in a truly multidisciplinary network, the expertise of both academic and non-academic partners in fields spanning from education and psychology, to translation and interpreting studies and sociolinguistics. The range of disciplines covered by the partners will ensure that the broader themes and objectives of the NEW ABC project are tackled from multiple, interconnected, and complementary perspectives. The consortium includes partners from nine different countries, who share a marked and continued interest in the education, psychological development, and social inclusion of young people with an immigrant background.
In addition to the cohesiveness brought about by their common interests and knowledge, the members of the consortium will each contribute outstanding expertise in their respective fields. The 13-partner consortium includes academic institutions, educational institutions and stakeholders.
