NEW ABC invited to the Uncovering Vulnerabilities in Migration and Human Trafficking Conference
On 9 and 10 May 2023, the NEW ABC partner Farzana S. Islam (ACE) attended the two-day “Uncovering Vulnerabilities in Migration and Human Trafficking” Conference in Valletta, Malta, invited by the conference’s host, the University of Malta.
“It was an immensely interesting event, with insights extracted from open data sources, identifying risks for migrants especially for trafficking, as well as the challenges for practitioners in identifying and addressing those at risk”, stated Farzana. Among the conference participants, there was another NEW ABC partner, Mubarak Juve from UREP.
