NEW ABC at the European Researchers’ Night
On 2 October 2022, the NEW ABC UNITO team, which takes part in the pilot project Teacher training and family involvement in pluralistic approaches to language education disseminated its research practices and results at the UNIGHT – United citizens for research – Notte europea delle ricercatrici e dei ricercatori organized by the University of Turin.
In the beautiful location of the Orto botanico (Botanic garden) of the wonderful Parco del Valentino (one of the most central parks of Turin, along the Po river), they showcased the activities that they co-created with pupils and teachers and they involved their audience in linguistic engagement activities such as guessing a language spoken by the children of the schools we work with or giving evidence of their own linguistic repertoire.
